Paris, Paris…its as if I could never get enough of it, the smells, the people, the chic chicks looking like they just threw something on but creating an amazing outfit….Paris is great.
Went to a show at the Moulin Rouge.. What an evening! I decided that in honour of my special event I was going to buy myself something nice on the Champs-Elysees, because quite frankly I didnt have anything nice enough to wear-including my lack of heels….oh my what a dilemma!! What to do? Go shopping, of course!
Found a nice dress and heels and set off to see the 11 pm show taking the Metro, which earned me alot of stares..:-) The show was dreamy, I had a front row seat next to an American woman from the Carolinas, cant remember which one now. But I drank a great bottle of Bordeaux, which soothed me since I wasnt able to get there in this trip. I saw a new show called Feerie.
Sitting that close was interesting- when the dancers would come out from the side stages as they swept pass me to start their new numbers, the feathers from their costumes would pass over me and it tickled, or maybe it was the wine. Afterwards, after buying some stuff and taking pictures, I caught a ride with a quirky french-italian cabdriver that insisted on taking me to a bar to have a glass of wine back on the Champs-Eylsees, well I went with him- when in Paris right?
By that time it was about 2am and the type of people hanging out at that time were scary! It was fun to see..took some more night pictures. Went back to my hostel to sleep, and did I tell you my room was on the 5th floor, with no elevator? In heels for the first time in a month..ouch. The stairs were not kind to my aching feet.

If you’re in Paris, I highly recommend a Moulin Rouge Paris show. It’s not like what you’ll see at the Cirque du Soleil, but the Moulin Rouge has that dreamy Parisian flair that you’ll only find when you visit this exciting city.
